Alex Morgan just became America's newest soccer sweetheart, and she didn't even have to take off her shirt to do it. However, Morgan's new fans might be interested to know that she posed for the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue in nothing but body paint.

Hope Solo tried to make sure that she remains the most talked about member of the U.S. women's soccer team by revealing how much sex went on during the Olympics in Beijing and by ranting about commentator Brandi Chastain, the player who is famous for whipping off her top to celebrate her game-winning kick in the 1999 Women's World Cup. Needless to say, America's female soccer stars are very good at getting attention.

Forward Alex Morgan is getting plenty of it after the U.S. women's nail-biter of a semi-final match against Canada. In the few remaining minutes of overtime, the brunette beauty managed to score the game-winning goal that sent America to the finals. There the U.S. will now get a rematch against Japan's World Cup-winning team.

So who is Alex? Aside from being a soccer superstar, she's probably best-known for donning a body paint bikini in this year's edition of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue. Her cool all-paint swimsuit was designed to resemble a mosaic or stained glass, and the popular pics led to her landing another sexy photo shoot in the pages of Maxim.

But don't star salivating too much, boys; according to Extra, the sexy star is currently dating fellow Seattle soccer player Servando Carrasco. She's also an animal lover who would probably be a veterinarian or sports commentator if she weren't playing soccer. When she does retire from the game, maybe Hope Solo will convince her to try to steal Brandi Chastain's commentating job.

Or perhaps she'll pursue a career in politics after her soccer playing days are over. Alex graduated from the University of California, Berkley with a degree in Political Economy.
