I consider myself to be a rather good-looking 34-year-old man. Yet I still find it very difficult to meet and talk to women. I don't have a problem going to the right places. In fact, I get invited to a lot of social gatherings and parties filled with many beautiful women.

The problem is I become too hesitant while trying to approach a particular woman; out of fear of rejection, I guess. I'd like to know if a woman finds me attractive before even approaching her.

Unfortunately, being from Mars, I have no clue what a "Venusian" is thinking unless I talk to her. What usually ends up happening is that I'll stare all night, and she'll stare right back, but no contact will be made. The following week I'll hear from a friend that she thought I was really good-looking. By this time, it's way too late and I'll just end up kicking myself in the behind. Tell me, how can I tell if she's interested?

Most people think that in the courting game, men are the first to initiate the courtship. But that is completely incorrect. The reality is that in almost all successful pickups, it is the woman who seduces the man without saying a single word.

In other words, a woman will initiate the game by using body language to signal that she is interested, available and receptive. That's right boys, you heard it here first.

The Player always gets his woman, not only because he's a great-looking guy, but also because he's a slick talker who doesn't fear rejection. The Player knows how to read a woman's body language to perfection.

By reading a woman's physical lingo, I can spot a woman across the room (or bar) who's either very unhappy with her man, aching to satisfy her sexual needs, or simply wants to engage in a pleasant conversation.

Most gentlemen fail to realize the importance of body language. Instead, they try to focus on reading a woman's mind. They stand around for hours holding a drink in their hands wondering if she's interested or not. Little do they know that the answer lies in her stance.

Forget about trying to read her mind, even God is probably clueless as to the mysterious functioning of a woman's complex mind. Stop trying to read her thoughts and look at her body instead. When I say body, I'm not referring to her breasts, but rather her flirtatious behavior and gestures, i.e. facial and posture patterns.

Unfortunately, men either choose to completely ignore a woman's body language, or are completely clueless as to how to interpret the signs. But remember this -- everything about socializing is based on the following two facts:

First, communication is 60% nonverbal. Second, nonverbal signs have five times more impact than verbal ones. So if you're not paying attention to her body language, you're missing out on 60% of the game. Then you wonder why you always go home alone at the end of the night.
